Join us for a once in a life time expedition towards the worlds most secretive and highly protected black projects bases: Area 51.
We've all seen it portrayed in movies like Independence Day and in games such as World of Warcraft and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, but is it all fictional? Does area 51 only exist in the mind of entertainment or is it really there? We invite you to come and see the base with your own eyes!
What's the hubbub?
Over the past few decades, there have been hundreds of alleged "UFO" sightings over the Area 51 region. People have sighted sky vehicles performing impossible aeronautical maneuvers, strange lights and disc shaped craft, cavorting around the sky over the secret Groom Lake facility in Nevada. A lot of people believe that the air force is toying around with and developing aircraft based around recovered alien technology. Some people think that the base houses aliens themselves. In fact, a former worker from Area 51 claims to have seen the alien craft for himself.
What's all this talk about aliens?
In Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, the Government announced that it had recovered an alien space craft from a crash site located on a desolate ranch. The US Army, the responsible division for the announcement, quickly revoked its statement claiming that the wreckage was nothing more than a downed weather balloon. Rumors led to the belief that the Government did in fact recover an alien space craft and the technology was transported to two different places. One being Wright-Patterson Air force Base in Dayton, Ohio and the other being Area 51 in Nevada. This could be the closest that any man or woman can get to extraterrestrial life on earth.
On Friday, the expedition will be initiated with a full day of lecturing and presentations in Las Vegas, just 90 miles SSE of Area 51. The lecturing is being held at the World famous Tropicana Hotel on Las Vegas Blvd. The full day of presentations will include lecturing by the top civilian and former military authorities, who know more about Area 51 than anyone on earth. You will hear presentations on UFO's, aliens, Government Black Op's projects, military technologies and of course the base itself and the security measures designed to keep it secret. Refreshments are provided complimentary!
Speakers:
Joerg Arnu - Webmaster of "Dreamland Resort". Arnu has been involved with researching Area 51 since 1998, after a day trip to the region to see the site for himself. His web site http://dreamlandresort.com is the absolute number one used resource for Area 51 information in the world, having received just under 3 million unique hits since October of 1999. Arnu and his DLR team have compiled nearly endless amounts of data for the web site and has participated in numerous mainstream media projects and television interviews. Plain and simple, when it comes to the base itself, there may only be a select few that knows more about Area 51 than Joerg Arnu. When it comes to the civilian side!

After the lecturing on Friday, we invite you up to one of several upper level rooms in the Island Tower to view, the famous Janet terminal. This is where most of the workers, military personnel, scientists and maybe even aliens, board a jet liner and fly out to the secret base. See the conspicuously casual dressed people (all with ultra high security clearances) board the unmarked aircraft and set out for the worlds most top secret base. An innocent yet mysteriously odd process. During your viewing sessions, you may take photographs of the terminal and view the planes with high powered spotting scopes (provided). All adding to your Area 51 experience.
On Saturday, the group will meet up (***see terms & conditions) in Alamo, Nevada, a small town just east of the Nellis Air force Base Bombing Range, where the United States tested their atomic bombs back in the cold war era. The range is where the military still practices war games and where the popular "Red Flag" exercises are held each year. The guided venture out into the valley will reveal sights and talks about all of the points of interest (POI) surrounding the base. We take you right to the door step of the base, under the watchful eye of the base security. We take you to the best place for a chance to view UFO's at night. You will see things on the tour that not many people on planet earth have laid eyes on. You will get as close to the base as anyone can get. Quite possibly only 14 miles away from the latest military technologies and even aliens themselves!
The meeting spot and expedition tour starting point in Alamo, will be forwarded to you via email within 30 days prior to the event!
Valley tour schedule:
The first stop on the valley tour is the Alamo Bus Stop. Some of the workers who prefer not to fly into Area 51, enter the base by bus. This is the central pick up stop for these people to hitch a ride into the base. At this stop, you may or may not see vehicles belonging to Area 51 workers. Additionally, you may see the actual bus that picks them up. Why is this important? It is the best chance you have to see actual Area 51 workers, because this is the only place on public land that Area 51 transit occurs. If by chance our group encounters workers from Area 51, no one from our group should approach them, photograph their faces or engage them in conversation. The folks getting on the bus and riding into Area 51 require privacy.
The tour stops at the intersection of Groom Lake road and The Extraterrestrial Highway 375. We stop at this point so that you can get a feel for the vastness of the region. We point out where the base sits on in the horizon, bald mountain, whitesides, tikaboo peak, freedom ridge and more. Importantly, you will see the unmarked road that leads directly into the base and possibly into a world beyond anything more than we've dreamed of. The base from this point, is about 29 miles away. You are about 14 miles away from the perimeter of the base, which is the furthest you can physically go.
Next you will arrive at Area 51's main gate. It's the absolute closest you can get to the mysterious base without being authorized to enter. At this point, you will see almost every facet of security that Groom Lake has to offer. Before your eyes, you will see various sensors, cameras and more, scattered around the dessert floor. Additionally, you will see base signs, ordering you to stop going any further. Our group will also be under the watchful eye of base security as well. The "Cammo Dudes" will be present and watching us from atop of a hill, with high powered binoculars and scopes. They may also be listening to your conversations. If we are lucky, we will get a fly-by from Dreamland itself from a military black hawk helicopter.
The next stop on the valley tour is the black mailbox. The first thing you will notice is that its not black at all. In fact it is painted white! This is the one place in the valley that people have witnessed the most UFO activity in the area. More reports come out of the area around the black mailbox than anywhere else. You will be able to see most of the pertinent points on the horizon as well as the best places to see UFO's at night. The black mail box is located at extraterrestrial Highway 375 and Mailbox Rd.
Possibly one of the best looks at the security around the base, is the back gate. It less visited than the main gate by the curious and is one of the more unique points of the tour. Its much harder to find than the main gate as well. From here, you can see right into the guard shack and have the cameras follow you around. Just on the other side of the fencing, you will be able to see old Soviet radar tracking systems, that the military use in testing. The back gate is certainly a must and a very popular request for the tour.
It doesn't get any better than the Alien Burger! We stop in the city of Rachel where we pay a visit to the Lil'A'Le"Inn. It probably one of the most well known "greasy spoon" type restaurants around. With fantastic food, cool Area 51 genre merchandise and lots of rare photographs to view, the Inn is an absolute must experience for everyone. While were are there, you will enjoy a complimentary Alien Burger meal on us!
****This concludes what is offered in the base package. At this point, the transportation will head back to Alamo and take you to your vehicle. You will have the option however to participate in the camp out option below. If you wish to participate, you may drive your vehicle back to the campsite (at the "Black Mailbox"). The below camp out is non-inclusive to the base package and is only optional as a courtesy.
The ultimate search: Spend the night searching for aerial phenomena!
You stand an excellent chance of seeing a "UFO" at the door step of the base. We will establish a base camp site for you to relax, camp and view the night sky over the Groom Lake Valley. You could witness strange aerial lights, black projects military test flights and more. Kick back, relax and enjoy the view. In order for you to gain access to our food pavilion and sun shelter, you will need to have an "Expedition: Dreamland" badge credential with you.
The base camp will be set up near the "Black Mailbox" along Extraterrestrial Highway 375. We will be providing: A large canopy area for getting out of the sun, refreshments and food. Refreshments will consist of soda, water and juice. Food will consist of cold sandwiches, chips and individually wrapped desert. You will need to provide your own camping equipment and gear, as this is not a sponsored part of the "Expedition: Dreamland" event.
(Sunday: Optional Premium Add On)
Odyssey Star is offering the most incredible opportunity one can experience with Area 51: Actually being able to see the base with your very eyes!
On Saturday evening, you will have the option to join a very small group of us for an unforgettable trip to Tikaboo Peak. It is the closest place to the base, where you can actually view the base with your own eyes. Although it is 26 miles away, you will be able to see Area 51 for yourself, through our (provided) high powered optics. You will even have the opportunity to take your own pictures of the base. This could be the last time any civilian will ever lay eyes on the base, as the Government could "grab" the land at anytime, making it part of the Nellis range. Don't miss this opportunity to see the base for yourself before its too late. Transportation from Alamo to the Tikaboo Peak trailhead will be provided!
This is being offered as a premium option due to hazardous climb involved in getting to the summit of Tikaboo Peak and actually getting to the site itself. We have hired experienced tour guides to accompany you up to the top of the peak, navigating you through the difficult trail maze towards the top.
Due to the remoteness of Tikaboo Peak and the treachery of the climb itself, we do not recommend the climb for everyone! Therefore we will be requiring a signed waiver of liability from those choosing to purchase this option. Essentially, you should be at least somewhat experienced in climbing and certainly in good physical shape. The liability waiver states that you agree this to be the truth about yourself.
Terrain notation and warnings for your consideration:
The climb consists of loose shale rock and common steep angles, sometimes in excess of 45° (degrees).
You could be severely injured climbing Tikaboo Peak, if not fatally wounded.
This is an extremely remote area. If you get hurt, help is a long way out.
The nearest road is an hour away from the bottom of the mountain and another hour to the nearest hospital.
In rare occasions, you may encounter dangerous wildlife during the climb or on the peak.
You must stay with the tour guide and group. If you go off the trail, you may be lost for a very long time.
There is a possibility of complications getting to the mountain itself. Please expect delays and possible vehicle breakdown.
Climbers are required to wear a back pack and carry at least one full gallon of water. Two is recommended.
Pack appropriately for the weather. It can get below freezing at the peak during the night, yet be over 100° degrees during the day.
A walking/ hiking stick is highly recommended to assist with the climb.
People who are smokers, are overweight and those who have any physical condition impairments, may have difficulty climbing.
If you understand the risks and are ready to see the base with your own eyes, just purchase the Tikaboo Package below!
